2001 Nissan Pathfinder

The 2001 Nissan Pathfinder is a sturdy compact sport utility vehicle. In this
year the Pathfinder came in with an engine that delivers more power combined with
contemporary looks for it to be able to remain at the forefront of trendsetting
in the minds of SUV buyers. Available trim levels include the XE, SE and LE which
are divided into two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The XE which features the
two-wheel drive has a standard 4-speed automatic comes standard with power windows,
heated mirrors and door locks, remote keyless entry, rear cargo cover and net,
and leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The LE which also features the four-speed automatic transmission offers the longest
list of items among the two other trims. Five-speed manual gearbox is what the
SE got however it still offers the automatic as an option. The Pathfinder now
displays a quicker performance, an almost sedan acceleration. In the configuration
of 4x2 along with manual transmission, the Pathfinder exceeds its predecessor
with more than 80 horsepower, running at 0-60 mph within 7.6 seconds. The 4x 4
configuration with automatic transmission on the other hand has only 70 horsepower
addition, but the horsepower that it produces is reliably good enough. These drivetrains
is tough on rough terrains and other rugged surfaces.
